How to get to Tamarindo

By bus:
From San Jose, a bus leaves daily from the Bus Terminal Alfaro at 3:30 PM and on Sundays at 6:00 AM and 1:00 PM. You can also make bus connections between Santa Cruz and Tamarindo.

By car:
From San Jose, take the Panamerican Highway #1 north, reach Liberia and at the main intersection turn left and follow the signs to Flamingo, Conchal, & Tamarindo.
