Itinerary Arenal Volcano & Osa Package

Day 1: San Jose

At your arrival, one of our drivers will be waiting for you at the exit of the airport with a sign reading your name. He will take you to your Hotel in the Central Valley. Overnight in the Central Valley.

Day 2: San Jose/Osa Peninsula

Early in the morning, after your breakfast you will be picked up by one of our drivers at your Hotel for a transfer to the local Tobias Bolaños airport in Pavas. You have an early flight from Pavas to the town of Palmar Sur. The flight is about 50mns. Once at the local airport of Palmar Sur you will be picked up by one of the drivers from the Hotel. After a lunch at the Hotel you may choose between a tour of the Corcovado National Park or a boat tour to the Caño Island. Overnight in Osa Peninsula.

Day 3: Osa Peninsula

After breakfast you may choose between having a day of relaxation and leisure or a day of adventure through the Corcovado National Park or a boat tour to the Caño Island. Overnight in Osa Peninsula.

Day 4: Osa Peninsula/San Jose/Arenal

After a relaxed breakfast and check out from your Hotel, you will be driven by one of the Hotel’s drivers to the Palmar Sur airport. You will take an afternoon flight back to the Tobias Bolaños airport in Pavas, San Jose. At the airport, you may pick up a 4X4 from the car rental to continue your trip towards the Arenal Volcano, Costa Rica’s most spectacular geological attraction. On the way you may visit Sarchi Ox-cart Factory and then continue to Arenal Area. By the afternoon you will arrive to your Hotel in Arenal. Overnight in Arenal.

Day 5-6: Arenal

After breakfast, you will have free time to enjoy the hotel facilities and surrounding areas. You may enjoy any tours such as the thermal baths, hanging bridges, the canopy tour or horseback riding. Overnight in Arenal.

Day 7: Arenal/San Jose/Departure

After breakfast, you may drive to the International Juan Santamaria airport. The drive is approximately 3 hours. You may drop off your rental car at the airport. Check in for International flights are 2 hours prior to the departure time.
