Itinerary Mountain & Beach Package

Day 1: Airport to San Jose

At your arrival, the shuttle bus of the Hotel Herradura will be waiting for you at the exit of the airport with a sign reading your name. He will take you to your Hotel in the Carari area conveniently located between the airport and the City of San Jose. Overnight at the Hotel Herradura.

Day 2: San Jose to Arenal (Volcano Arenal)

In the morning you will be picked up at the Hotel Herradura for a private shuttle transfer to Arenal and the Hotel Los Lagos. Rest of day at leisure. Overnight in Arenal at Los Lagos Hotel.

Day 3: Arenal (Volcano Arenal)

In the morning you will enjoy an exciting Canopy / Zip Line. Rest of day at leisure. You may enjoy the hot springs, have a massage or a mud bath, walk in the surroundings of Volcano Arenal, have a horse back tour or relax on the porch of your room and watch and/or hear the nearby Arenal Volcano, active for more than 45 years! Overnight at Los Lagos Hotel.

Day 4: Arenal to Samara

After breakfast, you will be picked up again by Interbus for a transfer to the white sand beach of Samara. Rest of day at leisure. Overnight in Samara at the Hotel Playa Samara.

Day 5: Samara

In the morning after breakfast, you will be taken on a fishing boat and head out to the reef for snorkeling for a couple of hours. Rest of day at leisure. You can spend the afternoon hours relaxing on the beach, jumping in the waves, reading a book under the shade of the coconut palms or you can entertain yourself with a variety of activities like horseback riding, boat tours, sports fishing, more skorkeling, swimming in the quite waters of Samara Bay, or rent a bike or a scooter and discover the area surrounding Samara. Overnight in Samara at the Hotel Playa Samara.

Day 6: Samara to San Jose

After breakfast Interbus will pick you up at the Hotel for a transfer back to San Jose. Overnight in Cariari/San Jose at the Hotel Herradura.

Day 7: San Jose to Airport

Depending on the departure time of your international flight, transfer back with the Shuttle Bus of the Hotel Herradura.
