Itinerary Nature Package

Day 1: San Jose

At your arrival, one of our drivers will be waiting for you at the exit of the airport with a sign reading your name. He will take you to your Hotel in the Central Valley. Overnight in Central Valley.

Day 2: San Jose/Tortuguero

Early in the morning after your breakfast you will be picked up at your Hotel for a transfer to Tortuguero. You will arrive to the canals of Tortuguero where you will change from being on a shuttle bus to boats. The boat ride will be through the canals of Tortuguero for an arrival to your Lodge. Beautifully framed by the shimmering Caribbean Sea and the calm waters of the Tortuguero Lagoon, the Lodge is nestled within 15 pristine acres on Costa Rica’s northern Atlantic coast. Overnight in Tortuguero.

Day 3: Tortuguero

This day will be a day of relaxation and leisure or a day of activities offered by the Lodge. Overnight in Tortuguero.

Day 4: Tortuguero/Arenal

After a relaxed breakfast and check out from your Lodge, you will return to San Jose. Once in San Jose, you may pick up a 4X4 vehicle from the car rental to continue your trip towards the Arenal Volcano, Costa Rica’s most spectacular geological attraction. By the afternoon you will arrive to your Hotel in Arenal. Located at only 2 and-a-half hours from San José, your Hotel provides its guests with one of the best possible views to observe the active volcano. Overnight in Arenal.

Day 5-6: Arenal

After breakfast, you will have free time to enjoy the hotel facilities and surrounding areas. You may enjoy any tours such as the thermal baths, hanging bridges, the canopy tour or horseback riding. Overnight in Arenal.

Day 7: Arenal/San Jose/Departure

After breakfast, you may drive to the International Juan Santamaria airport. The drive is approximately 3 hours. You may drop off your rental car at the airport. Check in for International flights are 2 hours prior to the departure time.
