Punta Coral Private Reserve

Punta Coral Private Reserve TourPunta Coral Private Reserve is located at the most eastern tip of the Peninsula of Nicoya, on the Pacific side of Costa Rica. It consists of 30 acres of protected Tropical Dry Forest. There are no roads leading to the property and no electricity. For the last 24 years it has been privately owned and jealously protected from development. Punta Coral is surrounded three sides by water, and accessible only by boat. This gives the property a feeling of being an island.
Eight years ago it was opened to the public with the idea to educate the guests of this delicate ecosystem. There is only 2% of the Tropical Dry Forest remaining in the world today.
Connected to the mainland makes Punta Coral a perfect place to visit the many animals, over 250 species of mammals and birds, that call the Tropical Dry Forest home and feed on the many delicious fruit bearing and flowering trees and plants.
Privately Owned means privately funded and this is accomplished with daily tours.
Punta Coral offers your clients a day on the water with the use of kayaks and snorkel equipment and a totally private area; a safe beach for swimming, four walking trails and a fabulous seafood lunch with live music, elegantly served where there is complete protection from the sun.
