We had a WONDERFUL trip! It was great to have a whole two weeks, what fun! Your help with the last-minute changes was also greatly appreciated. We probably could have made it back to San Jose pretty easily driving, but Santi shared that the ferry isn't always easy. Here are some comments from both Erik and I. Car Rental Alamo Rent a Car - worked out great. Pacuare Jungle Lodge was great. Probably one of the best experiences in Costa Rica! Fantastic food. It may not have electricity in the bungalows, but you wouldn't know it given how well they accommodate you! Shawandha Lodge - a warning about howler monkeys might be good for novice travelers to Costa Rica. Ylang Ylang Lodge - nice out of the way place. Arenal Paraiso Hotel Resort & Spa was fine. It was nice to see a fridge at this one and Ylang Ylang. One of the amenities that I didn't think about before going and would check for more clearly next time. Transfer has not problems. Nature Air - great fantastic big windows and a fun experience for the trip. The Skytrek and Canyon repelling were also good, and I did feel like the people guiding us were following good safety procedures. They all seemed professional. I also had a lot of fun riding the horse at the ranch, and not sure I'll every get the chance to ride a horse on a beach again. I think I had the best horse. THANKS SO MUCH ASHLEY! I've had friends ask about our experience who are seriously considering a trip to Costa Rica in the future and I wouldn't hesitate to send them your way! Your suggestions were PERFECT! Hi Ashley, Wanted to give you a big thanks for this trip. Everything went well. You did a terrific job with the transfers and the accommodations at the Pacuare Lodge and Peace Lodge Everyone was very friendly and nice and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The people you set up for a transfers were wonderful. The young man that took us to the Peace Lodge waited for us 1.5 hours. We did tip him very good. The other two gentlemen were fantastic and thanked us for visiting Costa Rica Never in all our travels have me met such wonderful people. All and all fantastic trip. My friends and I returned from Costa Rica yesterday and the trip was absolutely amazing! Thank you so much for helping coordinate our journey. It was FLAWLESS! From the hotel reservations, rooms, adventure tour, car rentals, internal flights, etc... it was perfect! We couldn't have asked for a better trip.
It's hard to say what was the favorite part to the trip since so much of it was exciting and different from day to day. We all agreed that Mal Pais was our favorite location so ending the trip there was definitely the highlight.
Thank you so much for all your efforts and making the trip so enjoyable. Travelling can be stressful and exhausting, but thanks to you, we never had anything to worry about.
