Itinerary Honeymoon at the Beach Package

Day 1: San Jose

At your arrival, one of our drivers will be waiting for you at the exit of the airport with a sign reading your name. He will take you to your Hotel Xandari Resort & Spa. The Xandari Resort & Spa consists of 19 spacious villas on a 40 acres coffee and fruit plantation overlooking Costa Rica's Central Valley. Over 4-kilometers of scenic trails through coffee and fruit orchards lead into a lush natural tropical setting with a year-round river and five beautiful waterfalls. Fruits, vegetables and herbs from the plantation's gardens complement Xandari's health-conscious specialty dishes. Day 2: San Jose

After breakfast, you will have free time to enjoy the hotel facilities and surrounding areas. There are many areas of interest for visitors just a day tour away from your hotel, including volcanoes, waterfalls, whitewater rafting, coffee plantation tours, rainforest tours and butterfly farms. San Jose is a congested, bustling capital city with over a million inhabitants in the greater urban area. Places of interest are the National Theater and Gold Museum, both located at the Plaza de la Cultura, and the Jade Museum on top of the INS insurance building.

Day 3: San Jose/Tambor

Early in the morning you will be picked up at your Hotel for a transfer to the local Tobias Bolanos airport in Pavas. You have an 8am or 2pm flight to Tambor. The flight is about 25mns. Once at the local airport of Tambor you will be picked up by one of the Hotel drivers to take you to your Hotel Tango Mar. Your Honeymoon Getaway Package includes: Welcome cocktail served on your arrival, 5 Day /4 Night stay in the fabulous Tiki Suite, complimentary fruit basket upon arrival and tropical flowers in the room, one romantic candlelight dinner for two with wine and two special dinners, daily breakfast, and a horseback riding tour on the beach for two. Day 4: Tambor

After breakfast, you will have free time to enjoy the hotel facilities and surrounding areas. Day 5-6: Tambor

This day will be a day of relaxation and leisure or a day full of activities. You may enjoy a massage, walk on the beaches of the Hotel Tango Mar, have a surf lesson, do the canopy tour, have a horse tour, go snorkeling, enjoy the neighboring restaurants and discover the local night life in Monteverde. Overnight at Hotel Tango Mar.

Day 7: Tambor/San Jose/Departure

After breakfast, you will return your rental car to one of the company’s agents at the Hotel Tango Mar. One of the Hotel driver’s will take you to the local airport in Tambor for a flight to the Tobias Bolanos Airport. Once you arrive to the airport in Pavas, one of our drivers will transfer you from the Pavas airport to the International Juan Santamaria airport. Check in for International flights are 2 hours prior to the departure time.
